Holly Bobo, Why?

"Please don't forget what this is all about and that's Justice for Holly"
-Karen Bobo, Holly's mother.

My daughter was born in 1989; Holly Bobo was born in 1990. My daughter was enrolled as a student in the medical field; Holly was a nursing student. My daughter is alive and well, Holly was murdered. My daughter is married with two children, Holly will never be.

Holly Bobo was kidnapped, raped, tortured, and murdered on April 13, 2011. She was on her way to nursing school; she was 20 years of age. It was a typical spring morning until a man came into the garage and led her away on from the rural family home in Parsons, Tennessee. Screams were heard by neighbors and law enforcement was called. She was seen by her brother, Clint, walking into the woods by a man who Clint thought was her boyfriend. Clint was wrong, it was not her boyfriend. This was the last moment a loved one would see Holly alive.

Three men, Zachary Rye Adams, his brother John Dylan Adams, and Jason Wayne Autry are awaiting trial for her kidnapping, rape, and murder. A fourth man Shayne Kyle Austin identified as a person of interest, committed suicide in room #37 at the El Jon Motel located in Bartow, FL, on February 23, 2015.

These four men are known as the A-Team. Could even more arrests be made? The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation advised of the possibility. It seems impossible to imagine so many men, together, committing such evil viciousness. How? How can this happen? How can any man stand around and take their turn raping a defenseless 5'3", 110 pound young woman? It is not only sickening and disgusting, it is unimaginable. There may have been six or more taking their revolting part. Did her cries and terror cause arousal? It must have. She was raped repeatedly. One of the accused is over 6"6' and 280 pounds. None of these men are teenagers, they all grown, some with their own children, even daughters. All have been convicted of various crimes throughout their lives. One common denominator was the use of Meth.

(A Special Thank You to Heather Cohen)

Her skull and a few more skeletal remains were found on Sunday, September 7, 2014. It is believed the accused and accomplices moved Holly's remains several times to prevent the discovery of her intact body. The trial(s) are slotted to begin April 3, 2017. Due to what is described as “voluminous” amounts of discovery, the presiding judge, Judge C. Creed McGinley has described the upcoming trial(s) as “like none we have seen before.”
